1. You seem to be NaruHina.
2. These panels actually bring up their parallelism even in event-appearance, the same way 628 is a replay of 437 with a switched NaruHina quote-wise.

1.I am not NaruHina. I like Hinata, but only as much as Sakura, and my absolute favorite female character is Konan.

2.Well, if it's a parallel that those "genetic failures" (which even Rikudo confirmed to Naruto) are so "talented" that A ROCK can "defeat" them... okay! XD

2. In 628 Naruto says he's being "SELFISH" (on a panel with Hinata, which is definitely "plot unneeded" for his monologue) - which is exactly what Hinata says to Naruto in 437.
This, AND your point about "similar falling" (Naruto had no ROCK, I think) - both actually point out their SIMILARITY and/or CONNECTION.
Seeing how they ENDED up together anyways, I see no reason to BASH them for what SHOULD be seen as their CONNECTION instead.
