Why Hagoromo struggled. Why?


It was because the Juubi Madara tamed didn't have this rabbit demon in it.

Remember, that rabbit was seperate with the gedo mazou when naruto and sauske seal them.

The same should have occured when Hagoromo and Hamura sealed it.


But when Madara awaked the Rinnegan, he summoned the Gedo Mazou, not the Demon.

Madara is an authentic transmigrant and has the real chakra of Hagoromo along with Sage Mode (Asura + Indra) his chakra is "compatible" with the Juubi's. Obito was just a regular Uchiha with mokuton cells, he doesn't have Indra's nor Asura's chakra, and he's also lacking a full pair of authentic Rinnegan and Sage Mode.
