The sand reacted automatically due to the Shukaku. When Gaara's father told him that it was his mother's love, he was speaking metaphorically. How are the feelings of a dead person going to move the sand? Gaara's father was essentially telling Gaara "Your mother loved you. When she allowed the Shukaku to be sealed inside of you, she did it because she knew it had the ability to protect you. So, in a way, your mother's feelings are what protected you; because she had these feelings for you, she gave you something that would protect you, which was the Shukaku's automatic sand shield." It's not my fault so many people took it literally.

There is no proof.
Limbo can only be sensed by those with Rikoudu's chakra. Or those with the rinnegan for clear vision on these powerfull clones.

Incorrect. Shukaku protected Gaara for the same reason Kurama did: While they wanted to take over their hosts, their host dying would mean they would die as well. Even though they would reform, it's still something they wouldn't want to do. Shukaku's presence in Gaara caused the sand to automatically protect him.

Hagoromo was able to do that because he had divine powers. What divine powers did Gaara's mother have?
