1.They are main characters in the manga and franchise, however, they weren't main characters in several movies (they were even left from 1-2)
2.Naruto is still more popular than them. Also, Shikamaru is also incredible famous and Iruka, Hinata and Gaara too (+ Sakura), yet no Iruka nor Gaara fans are ranting:

3.Featuring people on posters means nothing. Konoha 11 and Kakashi were also featured on RTN posters + Killer Bee on Blood Prison posters. What were they total scene times and meaning in those movie again? Yeah, being there for 10-15 seconds at best. Should I even mention Bonds (Sasuke with total 5 minutes role)?
Also, merches don't count, they are presents for the fans. Also, those "stickers" had entire manga volumes whiches had mostly Sasuke and Kakashi chapters. So those stickers were not for the movie itself, but for the manga volumes (Kakashi's had volumes where he was the main star and Sasuke too, see "Uchiha Brothers" volume). So those stickers were for the manga volumes and not for the movie. You didn't knew that they had manga volumes inside of them, did you?
4.Never said this, all they said that it will tell an event in the "blank period" and "the last mission the first love", that's all. That "it will close everything" thing was existed in the brain of the fans, who believed that a 2 hour movie can conclude an entire 10 years timeskip with 100000 characters.
5.Again: merches don't count, they are presents for the fans. Also, the trailers didn't said "look, Sasuke will be here for 50 minutes in the movie", they just showed the truth that he and Kakashi will be in, never said how important they will be.
