Orihime is a main character like Rukia. My point is a main character should have more battle feat than a side character. Though Sakura is VERY underdeveloped battle wise compared to Naruto and Sasuke.

Rukia is a main but I think in this series the writer has made more than one main character. Although Ichigo is no doubt above them all in terms if being main.

Yeah agreed.I wish the same had been done in Naruto though although in Bleach I kinda find the plot slow at times more so than Naruto.I like kishi's plot more but when it comes to charas Bleach is better

I think Hinata should have been main character. And given the abilities to heal since it suits her personality. Sakura on the other hand could have stayed main with flower genjutsu and strong punching capiblities like Tsunade. That way Kishi could have catered to both set of fans.

Sakura's major problem is that she does NOTHING beyond copying Tsunade - DESPITE being HYPED as a GENJUTSU type during the Exams.
IF she was actually developed as a genjutsu mistress that solos Kurenai - I'd LOVE her even WITH her other current flaws.
But she WASN'T given ANY improvement over Tsunade AT ALL.
She's a younger Tsunade clone LITERALLY.
Plus, Tsunade never was ready to BETRAY her village for her LOVE (she left it AFTER Dan died, not to JOIN him as nukenins) - yet Sakura is DEFINED by that.
And by ARROGANT envy for her teammates as well, cause her SECOND MAIN theme is "to be as strong as her teammates".
Hinata also wanted to "stay by Naruto's side", implying being useful to him - but she never tried to IMPRESS him with her POWER (she never FLAUNTED her STRENGTH or ABILITIES).
Sakura DID try this constantly throughout the WAR - ALWAYS leading her to looking STUPID and/or WEAK instead (632 is the start and the LOL'est moment of them all).
You can troll me all you want - but Sakura is CANONICALLY the way I just described, it's not even subjective, it's statistical.
