Are you f*cking kidding me? Look, I have no problem with these filler "specials", because frankly they are better put together than the random bursts of filler we usually get. But honestly, at this point in the game with the manga wrapped up the least they could do is pool their budgets together from the filler team and the canon team and make good quality canon episodes from here on out until the anime is finished, then continue on with filler until their hearts are content.

They wanna make money and keep their jobs as long as they can. I get it. But don't f*ck over the community/viewers with this shit JUST as the anime is reaching it's climax.

Can someone please tell me what this means? Will naruto be in it? How long will the arc last as filler? When will the naruto we've come to love come back?

Naruto being included in this arc is highly unlikely due to him training with Jiraiya during this period. The best Studio Pierrot can do is possibly show some training bits here and there but even that's not a certain.

As far as how long will the arc be and when cannon might return? That right there is still a mystery depending on how long they want to stretch it out so they could focus on the next movie, the mini manga series in spring, and other projects they have in 2015. The logical time frame that I see is 12 episodes from January to March, making cannon come back in April when Opening 17 airs.

The animation is dreadful! The anime will be produced using a patato once it reaches Sage of Six Paths Madara and Kaguya stuff!

Is there any word on how many episodes the Chuunin arc is going to be? It really sucks that they have to throw these in right at a cliffhanger.

No, but I can say that the maximum number of episodes *could* be 12 (January-March). That's because a new opening/new season starts in April.

I hope they don't stretch it to 12 episodes, but it's a possibility.

The statement you're thinking of, made shortly after the Kakashi filler, said there would be no more filer arcs *this year", not forever.
