Because American Comics are licensed so you always have alternate Universe work . Japan Comics don't work that way Editor have the last say even great mangaka like Oda listens to what editors say .

They play a huge role i don't see bad in this .

Its because she said comic, for me comic=USA and Stan Lee among others while Manga= JapanLol

But is not editor will limiting author creativity, For me its OK if editor want to control Average writer like Kishi, but what about very talented Mangaka with very great story plan, editor will ruin this kind of mangaka works unless this editor complied with Mangaka plan and he just help in giving added value and not changing all original plan of mangaka.

The editors seem to have a lot of influence on him considering everything I read till now.Heck Naruto was supposed to transform into a fox at will but the editors changed that.Even the chunnin exams were suggested by editors.Even Gaara's name was by editors

His first editor was the one who provided him a lot of him in his earlier plot-lines; You can add he was planning to make Hinata the ramen guy's daughter had his editor not suggest him to make her a Ninja instead. Lol


OT: I agree, every time he reveals more detail about his work, he makes things even worse, and makes things even more disappointing. He only gives the impression to the readers that he no longer cares about his own manga or about what the fans would think about him.

1st point was not related to Hinata btw. 2nd one was mainly about Neji. Idgaf about which pairing he dies for the fct that he dies for any pairing is plain dumb.

I don't care if they were good or bad. They are just like fun facts you read on the internet. Plus other than the movie there is not much new content available. His interviews are something to read when the manga is on a break.

I don't hate Kishi. I hope he puts more of himself in his next work. I am not suppose to like Hinata lols. My like/dislike towards her did not came from birth, i just don't like her and i have opinions as much as people who like her. Whole damage control regarding to her did not help either. My hate for Hinata is showing? Jaysus is thay because uh...i don't like her? Look at base please. 80% of threads are about her, how am i the one who always brings her up?

I think from the looks of it he may have lost interest in his manga. So even his mini series may have these half assed mistakes.

But I really don't care anymore. Naruto is done for me. I got other anime to invest in now.

Alright, I always thought that Kishi killed off Neji for the development of a pairing; or at least there was a high chance of that being the case. However, hearing it from Kishi's mouth makes it look even worse. It's like that quote from Mark Twain:"It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt." It's sums up the situation perfectly. Same with the stuff about Sakura's development.
