[Discussion] Your Top 3 overrated Anime?

For me...

1- FMA Brotherhood
(Seriously! Whats so special about it???)

2- Death Note
(All talking...i used to fall asleep watching it)

3- Attack on Titan
(Awsome first episode but then it got boring...i havent read the manga though)

A small mention goes to Bleach since its basically a DBZ type manga with fights and fights non stop

Attack on titan isn't over rated because its critically only recieved moderately good reviews. i like it. i like its darkness. it has its misteps. Overrated? i say nah

FMA brotherhood is one of the best anime and Manga to bad you hate it .

FMA:B is really good, watch it and see for yourself. I only watched a couple episodes so far and I'm enjoying it.

#1 & #2 are overrated trash series and #3 has a pretty decent manga from what I've heard but the anime gets too much hype.

I enjoy Magi and AoT but they don't deserve the hype they receive.

Ao no exorcist gets a lot of hype. It was okay but why do I want to waste my time watching something that's okay.

Saying something is "overrated" is just an excuse to say "It's popular so it's not that good". That's a stupid reasoning and I'm fed up with people using that word over and over again.

I did watch FMA B and it doesnt deserve the title "Master piece"

 

[Worm King]

Attack on Titan. Don't really have any main complaints about it, but it doesn't really deserve it's rating.

Sword Art Online. Story writting isn't good at all. It's essentially romance and action which neither are well done. Kinda funny it tries to take itself so seriously when the villains are usually one-arc only and generic as hell. Pretty funny attempts at forced drama. Main character is kind of a typical ''omg, look at me im badass'' type of guy, even though he ain't badass. Other characters aren't really well written either. It's original setting where they were trapped in a virtual reality was thrown away for bad attempts at romance.

Akame ga Kill. Isn't really THAT popular, but it doesn't deserve it's rating either. Generic characters and story setting, characters literally have no development nor are they fleshed out, too much abuse of fanservice (not boobs and ass-wise) since there's literally a whole group of villains created for the purpose of killing them off for fanservice. Other villains are terribly written as well. Characters die too quickly without being developed before-hand, thus their death leaves literally no emotional reaction and is essentially just shock factor. Also, attempts at being ''dark and edgy'' and oftenly ruining the dark and edgy setting with forced comedy. Pretty much funny to watch how it takes itself so seriously.
