Naruto can now fly in BSM. It's known Naruto doesn't use RM in the moive. Naruto is becoming more impressive and powerful.

I now believe Naruto could fly in RM because of natural energy. Madara and Obito could both fly in six path SM and all three of them uses natural energy. I believe over the time skip Naruto learned to use that skill/jutsu without needing to be in RM.

I know that, but Naruto doesn't use RM in the movie. So the most logical explanation is Naruto ability to fly comes from natural energy and he has learn to flying without using RM. Naruto is still using natural energy in BSM.

Naruto is flying in BSM and he is using high speed flight against Toneri. Look at the full video. Naruto uses Sai't birds to fly while he is in base mode. He can't fly in base mode. I believe that's because natural energy is required to fly.

He is likely only "flying" because they are fighting on the moon. He can't fly.

There is still gravity on the moon and Hinata never fly on the moon. Naruto is not floating he is flying at high speed.

Naruto was able to fly during the war because of RM, but that doesn't he will always need RM to fly. It's been 2 years since the war. That's plenty of time to improve. IE: Naruto couldn't release the 9 tails from his body during the war, but he can now.

Naruto never lost RM.
