hows the manga? I've dropped the anime at around 6 episodes (I liked the anime but didn't have the time to keep up with it)

so 1. Hows the manga compared to the anime?

2. is the manga ongoing?

3. should I just continue with the anime or start the manga?

4. what's the difference between Tokyo ghoul and Tokyo ghoul :Re?

The anime wasn't a good adaptation.
Read the manga, if you do start from the beginning of course, it won't hurt you seeing how you only saw 6 episodes.
Tokyo Ghoul= First Part. Tokyo Ghoul Re= second part.

1. Manga is more detailed and is having better storyline . Anime is bad

2. Yes Part 1 of the Manga is finished the second part Tokyo Ghoul : Re has started

3.Def. Manga . You can watch it but its not brilliantly done it has same fate as Toriko .

4. Sequel to the TG Series ,better start with Tokyo Ghoul and finish it and go to Re there are huge Spoilers..

The manga is awesome while the anime executed it almost poorly. That is the thing I hate most. You read a manga, the anime comes out, and the animators skip multiple panels, leaving the story with plot holes. That is why Im happy that they're starting over with the anime. However, Im also pissed because a part of me doesn't want to see the same sh!t all over again.

3. you should try to catch up in the manga because i heard that season is tokyo ghoul root A which is a parallel universe.
3 tokyo ghoul is kaneki ken learning to accept his ghoul side and solving rize murder and re is sasaki starting to remember his life before CCG ( his life as kaneki) well so far at least
