Gai has more votes? It's funny that I only see BS like this on this forum. In every other one I know Sasuke would win the poll by a mile. I guess it's time to gtfo for a while.

Cosidering the fact that SoulKiller has provided nothing to back his claim and has proved his use is only to incite flame wars based on conjecture and personal squabbles, I'm inclined to disagree with him.

However, you may have forgotten that Sasuke can't react to most of Guy's speed and movements, did you?
Let me explain, this is just like a figure jumping and running around with full speed plus Sasuke with Perfect Susanoo has to worry about Guy and be prepared for Guy's attack since it is very damn powerful.

BTW, Sasuke couldn't even react to Kaguya when she sent him to the other dimension.
So, my point is that, Sasuke in Perfect Susanoo cannot react to Guy's speed since Sasuke has to look up around and watch where Guy runs to, and the big problem for Sasuke is when Guy attacks. His teleportation won't help, but if Sasuke tries to fly away with Perfect Susanoo, then Guy fly by using jump footspeed.

True. As I said. Assuming 2 things:

Sasuke's PS can hold up against gai's attacks
Sasuke's Rinnegan can keep up with Gai's speed (Keep in mind Sasuke's rinnegan is more powerful than the one Madara was using against gai at the time)

Now assuming these 2 things hold true then Sasuke fairs a good chance at catching Gai in one of his linear attacks with his S/T jutsu which is instantaneous. However If gai's attacks smash PS or Sasuke's Rinnegan cannot keep up with his speed, then yeah Sasuke will loose this fight.

Oh stop with that. Did you read the conditions of this fight? Sasuke was nerfed and Gai is already in 8th gate when the fight begins. this is why the polls are so close. You did see what gai did to Juubi Jin Madara didn't you? I think you are just underestimating 8th gate gai.

I've never attacked you. We've just had disagreements when you overestimate something or I do, which leads to big threads. Also, I never said Naruto didn't have the Bijuu's chakra in his reserves. I was referencing that he didn't have access to their abilities, which would have supplemented a slightly easier time for Naruto like in the beginning of the sight, where Boil Release would have let him shrug it off like nothing and burned Sasuke on contact.

This would work....as long as Sasuke get's that PS in time. Once PS is active I am in favor of Sasuke winning as he now has something to tank a hit from Gai while performing another jutsu to win it. If not a hit from Gai could kill him outright. Gai isn't exactly a light hitter.

Go back and re-read the OP's original post. See this is why people are annoyed with Sasuke fans so many of you keep pulling out jutsu that aren't even allowed in the scenario then down play 8TH GATE Gai like he's some fodder.

He nearly killed Madara. Taijutsu only or no. Madara would have died if not for his Juubi Jin body. Sasuke doesn't have that luxury so PS is crucial to this fight or he could die.

It's hard to tackle with Sasuke vs Gai. But I just can't see how Gai can blitz him, since the only technique that can even give him a chance is Night Guy. Which can be evaded via S/T or blocked with PS.

Before you were saying he didn't use it at all due to not having access to it.I know he couldn't use Boil,Magma,Magnet etc techniques,but i was always saying he was still able to use the chakra itself.

Chakra can be used for different things,just cause he didn't use those techniques doesn't mean he didn't use their chakra.

Sasuke had their chakra,yet he didn't use those attacks.Basically they both had and used their chakra,and you kinda did attack me,well atleast insulted me,even though i was right,and for that,i deserve an apology Sir.

Sasuke blitzes Gai and one shots him. No difficulty. He managed to tag Naruto with Amenotejikara, and Naruto>>Gai when it comes to speed. Unlike Naruto who could tank Chidori, Gai gets his heart run right through.
