One eye, unlike the normal Rinnegan,The Sharingan Rinnegan combination eye has only ever been seen as one.The Juubi had one, which both the Rinnegan and Sharingan are decended from,Kaguya had one,Madara had one,and now Sasuke.
The normal Rinnegan, like all other Dojutsu, has been shown as a pair.Based on that i think Sasuke only has one Rinnegan/Sharingan eye because that's it's max.It never had a pair.
I haven't seen anyone mention this before. The Juubi itself which the eye decended from only has one eye,so why expect for Sasuke to have a pair when the original user, and the others did not?
What i have seen is a few people saying Sasuke won't ever be able to use it's full power because he doesn't have a complete pair.Based off of logic, what has been shown as a full pair is the normal Rinnegan,by the only two people who had it,Hogoromo, and Madara, and ofcourse Nagato had Madara's eyes.
But for the Sharingan/Rinnegan eye,not only did the original wielder of the eye only have 1 eye,but so did Kaguya, and Madara. So again, why expect Sasuke to have two when the others did not,and say he can never use it's full power cause he doesn't have a pair?
Why? Who has said this? Mostly Naruto and Madara fans who don't want more reasons of why Sasuke could possibly solo their fav once he masters his powers. So they want to act like an eye that's never been shown as a pair would suddenly need a pair in order for Sasuke to be able to fully use it.
Let me guess,"It's one of his main eyes and not on his fore head like the others" - again, the original wielder itself never had a pair,so why would a variant?
In conclusion,Sasuke can use the full powers of the Sharingan and Rinnegan with his eye. It's always been a single eye without a pair, that is why he only awakened one, instead of two.
