How did Ay become so strong?

People with insane levels of physical power always normally use chakra enhancement to do so. Insanely strong people like Tsunade, Sakura, SM Naruto, Gai, Lee need to use some sort of techniques to achieve those physical power levels but not Ay. Raiton Armor does not increase his physical power either.

How is he so strong like that normally?
