Not at all.
Neji didn't have to die for NH.
That confession should have been enough.
Yup so this kinda makes no sense.

Can we all just agree that Kishimoto sucks absolute balls at romance and move on?
Shippers never move on.Is this your first series or something?
I have yet to see a series where shippers move on in a even a year.I am already involved in the Bleach shipping wars as well and the situation there is similar Lol

Of course I dont behave uncivilised if my pairing doesnt happen but then in Bleach's case both of them make sense anyway
Because people that obsess over the relationships of fictional characters and drawings are ****ing crazy. Especially in a series where the romance was written as badly as it was in Naruto.

Not everyone agrees really.Bad to some is good to others. If it was as bad as you claim it was we would never have so big shipping wars would we?
The only way to avoid all this fiasco is to go the One Piece and DBZ route and not write it altogether.Alas money beckons
To me, a romance is invalidated if there's no reason for the characters to have feelings in the first place. That's why Naruto/Sakura and Sakura/Sasuke are horrible IMO. There was literally no reason for the first to have feelings for the second. Especially Naruto. He tried to give a reason for Hinata/Naruto but that fell flat on its face after Kishimoto made her confess and then literally did nothing with it throughout the series until 699 and 700. The romance was just a cheap tool to create drama and interest in his story. It's certainly acceptable as far as Shounen battle mangas go but certainly not enough for me to put an inkling of actual emotional investment into it.
I know. I've seen you bash Hinata enough to clearly know your feelings on her character. Blame Kishimoto for not making his pairing fodder more than 1 dimensional I guess. Still don't see why it wasn't painfully obvious to people that Hinata was designed as Naruto's love interest though.Thats why I said its subjective. It was clearly there very much so as to put a ton of emotions into it since even the VA's are shipping it and all interviews with Kishimoto just cant seem to side skirt the subject. In fact I feel its more explosive than most romance novels. He did a half ass job on all of them and thats what made it even worse. He trolled a pairing for 15 years all the while ignoring the ones he set out to actually do.He should take a leaf out of Kubo's and Oda's book when it comes to that
Now I may have the unpopular opinion on this but personally I would take SS over NH for the simple reason because I can actually see it in the manga even if its negative and although I am not a fan of Sakura and Sasuke,I like the latter character and as far as the former goes will take her over Hinata any day.I tried to like NH but the Hinata side of the equation is something I really dislike.Personal preference I guess

Because Naruto didnt show any feelings to her in the manga. We never saw anything concrete TBH.It was all from Hinata's side
The funny thing is Sasuke showed more emotion to Sakura than Naruto to Hinata in the manga negative or otherwise
Her concept art literally has Naruto in the background and she's wearing an Uzumaki crest necklace. Her character literally revolves around Naruto in a storytelling perspective. It should have been obvious.
Yes but I am talking more about Naruto's side.Maybe because I have read Bleach it doesnt make sense to me.In Bleach,Orihime is basically just like Hinata except Ichigo showed feelings to her which I didnt see in Naruto
Concept art doesnt mean anything. If he designed it from the start there were absolutely no clues to it because Naruto never saw her that way
You know why? Because the second he shows Naruto having an inkling of romantic feelings for Hinata it's game over. The shipping wars are done. It was a plot device used to create interest. If it's well done it can be compelling, but this was far from well done.
That's what I've been saying. When it's well done it can be compelling, but it was just lazily done by Kishimoto. It was H-> N-> S->S for the whole story. It's boring and obvious. Every love line trope I've seen ever just breaks it down the middle so it ends up as H <-> N and S <-> S.Not really. In bleach Ichigo has showed similar feelings to both Rukia and Orihime. Its anyone's guess what may happen.
I am not talking necessarily romantic feelings.Make them interact.First let me see them as actual friends not something like Hinata appearing after a few 50 chapters and disappearing for the next 50

And while breaking it they actually develop it too.In the manga there is absolutely nothing which shows N->H for 699 chapters.Funnily enough its there for S->S Lol
Good for you. Apparently some people did because there are shippers on that side too.
