[Discussion] Admiral Kizaru vs Admiral Akainu

Akainu would win against kizaru, kizaru has an obvious speed advantage but Akainu's fruit is dangerous.

Akainu's fruit takes people's limbs off quite easily if he was able to rob Akoji's.

Off topic: If Akoji didn't leave the marines, he would be fighting Zoro with his ice sword and sabers.

Akainu would win with extreme diff, maybe it would be something like akainu vs aokiji, the pre-skip admirals were almost all equals, but due to the importance in the story and the portrayal during the war nad after the TS as the new marines FA then akainu get the benefit of the doubt.

Only because it was to introduce a new main villain which is Akainu... Kizaru is lazy why would he be a candidate to run the entire navy? Kizaru clashes with WB just like Akainu and WB couldn't even land a finger on him...

Kizaru likely can't hurt Akainu.

His lasers will just go through him because you can't use haki on elements produced from logias.

Akainu was shown to have particularly strong haki (shrugging off the haki of Marco and Vista)

Need I remind you that Marco's haki was enough to kick Kizaru.

Therefore Akainu's haki > Kizaru's haki.

If Kizaru attempts to punch/kick Akainu he will just pass through or even get burned whilst Akainu can punch or kick Kizaru.

Well they actually do have them, but in certain circumstances when kizaru is getting attacked it is when he is not going through the speed of light motion.

During part one episode two or three, luffy was keeping up with the speed of old pu$$y rifles.

He manage to jump in front of them after they got fired, to save Zoro and give him back his swords.

Enel who is the god of lightning and moves at the highest lightning speed also got tagged multiple times by pre gear luffy all the same.

I agree that Akainu wins though

When will people realize that being FA also involves leading the Marines? This means formulating battle plans, having exceptional leadership skills, being able to strategize, negotiate, etc. A Fleet Admiral is a special Admiral, it's simply an Admiral with exceptional leadership skills. Kizaru wasn't a contender because of how lax he is(even more so than Kuzan), and he can't even tell the Den Den Mushi apart. Kizaru has the strength to be a Fleet Admiral, but not the leadership skills/mental competence.

OT: Akainu by portrayal, but I have a feeling Kizaru is the strongest of the original three.
