Most of them are mainstream media agencies, and from my knowledge Marilyn French started to became more hostile towards men when her daughter get raped at age of 17. I am not saying her actions are correct, completely opposite actually but people do have stories.
There are good examples of feminists who really promote equality. But seeing so much hate from the movement, are they really to be trusted? Or are they to deceive?
I will tell a small story.
I knew once a person who was used by her loved one to benefit his drug-selling business.
One was merely answering phones and sending products to places to store them, while the other one was hiding stuff in the boxes.
The former seems pretty innocent and a good citizen, dragged by someone into vile stuff.
Feminism has roots and reasons, and no the equality have not reached either. If people actually did care about feminsim (since they can not stop going on about it) they would see the positives as well. Instead of reading all those things on OP have a little search on someone like Simone de Beauvoir fellas.
Men cared about it. There are men feminists, but some of them, if they do not have the extreme ideology, are treated horribly.
I have seen this countless times.
Women complain that men do not care about feminism, but feminism rejects them.
Is feminism about both genders?
Here is a small piece from a guide about how to be a men feminist.
It’s not about you. This is probably the most important thing for you to understand: you do not get a voice in feminism. If feminism helps you personally, that’s great, but understand that feminism is a movement by women for women. You are not our priority, especially when you benefit from our oppression, whether you like it or not. You do not get to speak over women in feminist circles no matter how much you disagree their viewpoints (even if they are wrong, as a man, it is not your place to correct them). You do not get to derail women’s conversations about their experiences with irrelevant comments like, “Not all men are like that!” Congratulations, my friend, on making this about you. Your job is to step back, listen to women’s voices, and educate yourself.

The term used for this is usually radical feminism, but it is really a thing or just a disguise for their real ideology?
There is no radical feminism. It is only feminism.
What do they mean by equality?
Both genders should have the same opportunities?
Or, women have been oppressed in the past, and now men should be treated the same?
If it is to judge them by their actions, the letter seems more plausible.
This is one of the main problems with the movement.
They are offended by a small portion of people, thus all of the same category should be punished.
I will let this chat to better explain you the ideology.

Alright since i don't have patience and your post is rather simple and actually not even offering anything extra by just being long, i will cut it short: you are keep judging something over its negative and radical sides.
These quotes pretty much expose your mindset on matter:
The term used for this is usually radical feminism, but it it really a thing or just a disguise for their real ideology?

It is like asking "is tgere a thing like radical Islam, it is only Islam" and throwing ISIS and innocent Muslims in same pit as in "maybe ISIS reflects real intentions of all Muslims".
Yeah they can be trusted. Why would it be so hard to believe? What are they gonna do, preach about equality and tie all men with chains when they take over the world?
If something is claimed to be about equality and completely dismisses the idea, why should it still be called about equality when it clearly has nothing to do with it?
You seem to hold on the argument that I only see the radical examples, but what it is to prove this?
Yeah they can be trusted. Why would it be so hard to believe? What are they gonna do, preach about equality and tie all men with chains when they take over the world?
Haven't read my small example about the person I met...
I will explain it in another way.
There are this persons who genuinely promote equality through speech, while the other "extreme" feminists do all the bad stuff.
They get away with it, since they have a shield, which helped them not to look bad. Instead the others will look bad, as they blame the ones who supported equality.
This is the key to social justice and Marxism.
I can give you a relatively small and good piece of text the explain this better.
I mentioned that the subversive nature of critical theory was twofold. What makes critical theory truly destructive is that they never provide an alternative. They never tell you what might have been better, what might have worked in its place, or what alternatives have been tried successfully in the past. They just attack and attack and attack.
The Frankfurt School knew that western culture would eventually fight back against these attacks, so they created a shield. The shield is called political correctness. Political correctness says that certain groups are protected groups, therefore you're not allowed to talk about them unless you're one of them. They'll go even further by saying that they don't have to listen to your argument because you're a straight white male. Or they'll just say that they won't even let you talk because you're a racist homophobic misogynist. For example, if I were to call the president a tyrant, cultural marxists will say that the only reason I'm calling him a tyrant is because I hate black people. That's what political correctness is. It's a way for cultural marxists to get their opponents to shut up.
Critical theory and political correctness, when combined and put into action, is called social justice. Cultural marxists are using social justice to bring to the western world an ideology that, despite having slaughtered a hundred million people in the past century, refuses to die.
I have to say, that for someone claiming that feminism is "biased"; your thread is rather one sided and biased. Yes, there are feminists who are extremists and say asinine stuff. However, the same can be said for practically any movement. Feminism in it's purest form is not that bad, and is actually needed in some 3rd world countries in particular. You should look up some good feminists to broaden your view.
With that being said, I do think that the "feminazis" appear to be more "vocal" than the moderates(due to media always trying to get a good story ), which is why feminism has such a bad reputation. There also comes a point where you can't say that the extremists aren't "real" feminists without using the no true scotsman fallacy.
Heh, rape as with murder, are simply immoral actions that will exist at all times. Our society frowns upon both. Implying that rape is an accepted act in the first world is a straw man argument. Nobody is tolerant of rape except the few that commit it. Radical feminism preys upon misinforming a gullible audience.
As for their entire position is antithetical to their goals and beliefs. They claim to have a position of female empowerment, yet almost their entire stance is attempting to convince others that they are weak and powerless and thus justified to weaken man's social position through extreme beliefs.
The only feminist beliefs I would consider not to be based on misinformation and manipulation are job discrimination in the 1st world and their lack of actual rights in the 3rd world. The 1st of which cannot be fixed through radicalism, but merely by a new and more tolerant generation. The second does not get enough attention due to all of this radical feminism.
Regardless, I feel the radical victim card, in general, is played too much in modern society. Injustice never justified more injustice.
