smh
-Willing to spend 300M to buy out a friend
-Willing to stay on a dangerous Island to help children she never met
-Willing to go with the rest of the crew to save ROBIN
-Gave Money to L ola after Thriller Bark willingly
-Willing to recollect the 100M so her island doesn't fight against Arlong (8 years to collect that cash)
-After being beaten and bruised in Alabasta she decided to give up on the 1 billion beli deal with Vivi
-After catching a deadly disease she refused to get treated and wanted to go to Alabasta
-After being treated refused to wait until she was fully healed so she could go to Alabasta quicker
-Forgave Hachi after her torment for 8 long years that emotionally scarred her
-Forgave Jimbei after hearing about he was the one who released Arlong

Stop judging a character off their comedic relief moments.
If you want to play that game then fine, Zoro's IQ is below infantry having to not know the difference between straight and left. And apparently he's an insomniac buffoon who can't seem to stay awake for 1 second. Does this seem like Zoro? No, you know why?

It's a joke

OT:
I like Robin and all, but the whole HST? There's other female characters who have all those traits and perhaps some even better than that of Robin's.
I dont know why you bout up Zoro in a thread totally irrelevant to him. even if it was a joke it wasnt funny at all :|.
OT: Robin still remains my fav female character in One Piece and in terms of overall character and personality wise she's superior to Nami if you dont like it tough U_U.

def . agree with OP . Robin in best female character in One piece . Her past itself is a key story to one piece treasure .

just look at her once we thought she worked for crocodile she turned out to be working for Rev.
Robin's knowledge on Poneglyph will be one of the most major event in the future. Despite not getting enough panel time, Robin is more important to the main plot than Sakura could ever be Lol

Also her backstory is really great and evokes sadness. Despite her tragic past, Robin is the calmest member of the Strawhat crew, and one of the most important character in the whole manga

Obviously you don't like to read posts so I'll explain it to you.
When I said it's a joke I'm speaking for the author. Do you know why Zoro acts completely mind-blowingly stupid? Because Oda has that as a running JOKE
I brought up Zoro as an example, not to make fun of him
Nami is greedy and a gold digger as a JOKE Even though she's shown moments where she's amazingly passionate (one of the most if not the most passionate)
Finally coming to the conclusion of Nami not being a gold digger.

And I know it's your opinion and all don't get me wrong I love Robin too, but seriously? Robin says like 3 things every arc (barring Enies Lobby) How does she have a better personality than someone whose vibrant and shows it? Unless of course you like quiet people then
that's not my business

Nami and Robin are Probably the closest things to legitimate and good female characters in the HST.

All the others suffer from being either irrelevant, or when they are they end up totally useless.

Konan was probably the most competent and versitile Naruto female, but didn't do shit and hardly appeared.

Sakura appeared, but never got the development she needed.

Hinata got developed, but it always focused with Naruto...and she never improved power wise.

Bleach women are walking fan service or damsels I'm distress. The only one who wasn't was honestly Unohana and what does she get after the entire series of sitting back burner? She's weaker than a child Zaraki that must die so he can break a big rock so his fans can jizz themselves.

One Piece women are virtual stereotypes.

Hancock is all about loves and hearts which wouldn't be so bad if her thirst wasn't literally real.

Tsuru is a washing machine....a woman who's DF is the wash wash fruit....talk about stereotype.

Big Mom is an old fat lady who likes candy.

So yeah that basically leaves us Robin and Nami.

Sadly since the skip both are basically *** objects I'm their dress styles. Corazon's army Robin pic still pissees me off. Robin can't wear pants to save her life. Nami can't find a damn shirt.

Nami gets the development and interaction in arcs like a female should get....but ends up incredibly weak and a coward when it comes to fighting....stepping up only when she has to.

Robin has a great personality and mind set for a strong female character, but the plot ****s her from a fight literally every arc, and to top it off now she's wearing clothes unsuitable for fighting and is suddenly going soft on people she KNOWS are threats (Sugar).

In short, HST females are all honestly get the bad end of their respective Mangaka's writing.

Robin and Nami are basically a Yin-Yang of the closest thing to a good Shonen female.

I'll go with Robin because of personality bias...

I agree with almost all of your points! NICO ROBIN FTW!

She doesn't fit #3 & #4 on the OP's list. Robin is cooler though, I like her DF she just needs rokushiki style moves and haki.
As much as I would LOVE for that to happen, the chance of that happening is pretty much nil (Although her chance of gaining Haki is decent).
