It seems as though... with their last fight they were only interested in head to head shots, like rasengan vs chidori, but nothing of the sort, like say... using ame to dodge rasenshuriken and attack from extremely close range.

Heck, Sasuke could have gauged up Indra's arrow, used Ame to go behind Naruto, then unleashed it right in front of his face. :|


But Sasuke only lost because of his lack of mastery of the Rinnegan.


In the end, descendants of Ashura will be inferior to descendants of Indra.
