I know Naruto and Jiraiya were close, but you have to understand that kakashi had nothing but Jiraiya's ich ich novels. I bet after kakashi herd the news he just went home and broke down. Flash forward a couple of weeks and you can clearly see that he had nothing left to live for. The poor guy sacrificed his now meaningless life for Chouji... that fat**** Chouji.

I think it affected Tsunade more than anyone. It was implied they would start a relationship when Jiraiya returned but he never did. Naruto, the toads, and kakashi were affected too. I dont think orrochimaru really cared though
