Turned out to to be good when it mattered I'd say. Don't you think next weeks episode looks surprisingly good for an outsourced episode? I'm still going in with low expectations but the preview looks pretty good from an art standpoint.

My thoughts exactly. If you look at the staff, the next episode is expected to be of average or low quality. Yet, when I see the preview, it doesn't look that bad to be honest.
