Seeing as how it was never stated that she stops gathering chakra after the seal is created (seal dosen't dissappear even when all the chakra in the seal is used) chances are she already stored 5 years of chakra b4.

"heck it took 3 just to form the seal"..... nice.. it took Naruto an entire week to make the rasengan.

Both correlate very much. Took Naruto a week to learn how to make the rasengan , took Sakura 3 years to unlock the yin seal. That does not equal to Sakura having 3 years worth of chakra stored inside her yin seal.

The only limit of the still seems to be the amount of chakra needed to make it appear. Prime Tsunade had the seal, she had it when nawaki and Dan was still alive

Shes been saving up chakra in one spot. She never said shes been saving it in the seal... because there was no seal. Cannu try to get the viz for it?

5 years worth of chakra isn't that far out the question when shizune flat out states it took 3 years just to make it. We know that it's not full once it appears and we don't know of any apparent limit. But given the time frame needed for its creation 5 years isn't off the mark.
