Matters naught, Bunta held it down for decent amounts of times, which is all that matters. Not to mention even if it is roaming freely with no summons affecting it, it still has negligible impact on Minato's fighting style.

Minato's clones go for the blitz on said Paths, Deva blows one away just to realise the second one is blitzing and is about to tag him (which he doesn't know of). Minato is never being hit, he'll have his clones to teleport to throughout the entire fight, who are more than capable of taking care of themselves.

lolwot. ST doesn't work that way, it pushes you back but it doesn't necessarily make you go poof. Naruto's clones didn't go poof on multiple occasions, and yes, they were not SM. Minato's clones going poof is fallacious, they move backwards and then they blitz him. Not to mention, IC Deva almost always uses a linear ST, and only tends to use his 360 degree ST on large targets. So he'll still be open from the clones surrounding him.

It comes down to this.

I have seen this argument a lot but (I can be wrong) Ive only seen Minato summon one clone.

He only ever made one but that does not mean he can't make more.

Jiraiya only ever made one.
Orochimaru only made one.

I hope you don't think one clone is their limit, especially with them both being chakra monsters. Old Hiruzen and Onoki can make 5+ clones and their reserves are quite lower than Minato, Jiraiya, and Orochimarus.

I know, but 2 things:
1. I don't like to make too much assumptions, specially when saída assumptions dictate the entirety of the argument. Just because someone is a chakra monster we shouldn't imply.
