This time line doesn't seem right. In the movie Kurenais kid is still a toddler and in the epilogue she seems to be a teenager. Doesn't feel like an 8 year gap.

You know there is a possibility that after Naruto and Hinata got married. Some time that same year Sakura and Sasuke got together. I mean if you think about it, Sasuke said to Sakura "wait for me". I am guessing by that time Sasuke had already decided to accept Sakura in his life. All that was needed was for him to return from his long journey and get married.
