Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

Yeah noticed that too. Kinda sad to be honest. I feel like people just like the OP people instead of the characters that are cool or just fun to watch.

Not even lying, Neji has been my favorite since I first SAW the character. You can only imagine the devastation I went through when he died. RIP :neji:
Neji always amazed me, I've been a fan of him during the Chuunin exam although he wasn't my favorite at that time, because I thought Naruto is such a great and likeable character and he'd impact my life. Everyone got fair amount of screentime and the powerscale are mostly balance, but when you compare from part 1 to shippuden, the distinction between the two is off the roof especially this war arc.

My enjoyment for this series is drained when Kishi treated every side characters like dirtbag and that the main characters always hogging all the spotlight. The Naruto I once knew is no longer there, he's all prophesied and he's still acting childish brat that I personally despise. When Neji died, I was so pissed cause his death wasted his potential and I began to perceive the Bs when Neji along with everyone else are nothing more but a plot device for Naruto.

Right now, I have little hope for this series, because of Naruto the Last movie revolving the Hyuga clan, although I'm enjoying more in the Anime than the manga due to some fillers that gave insight to some characters that never got expanded upon as such, the Hanabi fillers which I thought it was so damn awesome which it almost made me cry espeicially when Hiashi used the birdcage seal on Neji, that scene was too dramatic and intense!

Anyway I guess the only thing that I gave a damn in this series is the Hyuga, the rest of the characters feel meh to me.

I feel ya. I always though in part 1 it was pretty fair considering everyone was pretty even in terms of power.

Even at the start of part 2 I still thought they were all close. Finding out Neji was the only one outta all of K11 to get Jounin was awesome and when you saw him battle he was awesome.

Sad part was it started to become DBZ where they started going away from the other characters and only focused on giving power to the main people. And just giving the others no purpose besides just aid in Naruto's progression.

Honestly, I like the show either way. It's all amusing to me but I do enjoy most of the Hyuuga scenes compared to all the rest.

I found this and I can't tell if this is the new Naruto anime sequel or this could be the chuunin filler arc.

There are some random characters grouped into villages, Konoha on the left, middle is that stupid grass village, and right is suna. They could be the competitor for the chunnin exam while obviously every rookies member is in there. Hanabi is in the page as well so maybe this might totally be worth it
It's most likely the chunnin exams thing

Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

Translation from the novel

Naruto was lost in admiration of Hinata's profile.
He felt an urge to run his fingers over her beautiful outline.

Then Hinata suddenly turned around. Naruto quickly looked away.
"eh...Naruto–kun...what about that scarf?"
"ah that one...cos the underground is warm...i got rid of it ttebayo"
"is...is that so..."
Actually its rather chilly. You can see his breath.
"Cos you are dressing like this (lightly), you are cold."
Naruto glanced at Hinata's bare upper arms. The skin is fair and clear.
"........"
"Please don't stare... this is a mission gear so... I can't choose..."
Hinata hiding her naked arms and lowering her eyes with a blush on her cheeks made Naruto's heart twinge.
"something, anything will do...I oughta say something now! I must say something(cool)!"

I've been screaming "wasted potential" since mid part two. Neji was always my favorite from when he stomped Hinata in the preliminary rounds. Kiba was also, his tag team combo with Akamaru was unique to me. Honestly all of the K11 were interesting and they just got ignored. Only guys that got good development was team 10, and even that wasn't as good as it could of been. I wish Kishi made one arc dedicated to each team revealing some backgrounds about each character. I also wanted a Hyuuga Arc to capitalize on the Byakugan and their story and what not. But nah, Kishi focuses on bullshit characters instead. I mean how do you forget about the Byakugan and there's only 3 dojutsu? That's just absurd.

Seriously.

Kishi just got too much of a hard on for the Uchiha lineage that he completely forgot about the other important assets of the show.

It speaks volumes considering he forgot his main characters KIDS having Byakugan's............

Hyuga arc would have been incredible. This movie is compensation for that, but it's bad compensation.

I think they got ignored because Kishi by himself is a bad writer. After his first editor left around Sasuke vs Itachi is when the story slowly went to hell. Without him Kishi forgot tons of things in part 1 like the theme that hard work can beat natural talent anytime.

Now Naruto is about Talent+hardwork vs Pure talent.

He spent way too much time on things that had very little relevance. Like Shiho's entire character, Hanzo vs Mifune, or the constant back and forth between Naruto and Obito

Yeah, who cares about that Ino look-like that was only shown in one arc? Why can't we focus on the real thing? Was't she a pupil of Tsunade as well?

I honestly didn't care about the nerdy girl. But Hanzo, I don't mind. I just can't get over the fact that Konoha was forgotten about in general.
That's honestly the only thing I find wrong with the manga. To much important things(in my opinion) were left in the dust.
