Senju + Uchiha DNA = Rinnegan

Cause Obito had Uchiha DNA and Senju. It should have never been believed that these two combined lead to the Rinnegan because Obito fit that description but didn't unlock the Rinnegan. Just saying that he's proof that this theory could have never been true. Though I don't blame people for thinking it before because it was before we learned about the reincarnations and Ashura's and Indra's chakra.

Then Black Zetsu said that those zetsu weren't Hashirama's clones, but were in fact people from the past Infinite Tsukuyomi...so wouldn't this mean that Obito didn't have Hashirama's Dna?

Uchiha + senju= rikudou powers

Uchiha and senju is essentially Indra and Ashura.

It's more like uchiha+senju incarnates+something else=a Rinnegan.

Madara and Sasuke were the only incarnates with both Asura and Indra chakra to awaken the rinnegan.

Both Chakra of Indra and Ashura are passed down to the Uchiha and Senju, including fodder members. The difference is, reincarnations inherited far more quality and quantity of it. I would say the process of Rinnegan awakening would be faster if you're the reincarnation than non-reincarnation, since the Chakra is a lot closer to Rikudou's.

No...I agree that the Ashura+Indra thing is the true way to awaken Rinnegan.

Madara thought Zetsu was an artificial clone made entirely of Hashirama's DNA, which wasn't true. That doesn't mean Zetsu doesn't have Hashirama DNA.

Madara was using the Gedo Statue to cultivate Hashirama's cells. Zetsu was inside the statue at the time.

Obito used Mokuton as well. He had Hashirama DNA
