Compared with DBZ movies and One Piece.. The Last sucks, most often of pedictions fans are more interesting than Kishi work.. Meah IMO ¬_¬
And yet fanfiction section is lacking the all these "creative" members.. Are they able to actually convert their theories in a readable and interesting fanfiction? Or they just want someone else to provide endless fanservice adding all their unnecessary plot twist in his story.

Most of the people just want more screen time for their favourite characters or wanted the manga to go on and on with more twists yet. At the same time those"twists were simply ripped off ideas from other shows or stories or really half baked with no clear direction as to what next? Many made them without any purpose fitting in the plot unless for a spin off.

More often than not- Bad fanfiction writer= good theory makers it seems. For otherwise they should have made a story out of it and shared with us.

Give me the rights to Naruto and I'll make a better story.
Right for free for the work someone invested their 17 years? How nice of you!

Create your own characters and verse. Or right fanfiction like thousand others without any rights and putting in disclaimer that you don't own the character or the verse. Post it in the writer's section at NB. So that we all can enjoy it. ^^

There is nothing in a reboot. Look at the current Planet of the Apes franchise. It's awesome!

The first planet of the apes was still the first and the most interesting and original concept. Rest of the movies won't exist and were made only because the first one was a good idea. And the movie rankings here agree with me-

And as I said making tall claims are all well and good and of course any work can be improved in re writing - especially the ones with serialized publication stretching over a decade or more. You can always find bits in any work to not agree with or not liking as much as the rest of the book or other aspects of it. It doesn't lessen credit of the original writers.

What next- Legolas is a retcon ( not even mentioned in Hobbit) and there are hardly any female so LoTR is badly written? Did the movie make really make it better when they showed Galadriel caressing Gandalf's cheek? The kind of romance it has, would also not go well with many if you make a manga out of it. ( they complained about Arwen and Aragorn pairing too when the movies came out. )

I did like the way Milady died in the movie rather than in the book ( Movie made the three musketeers and their friend less of a hypocrite and jerk). Doesn't mean the writer still didn't write an engaging story.

I like most of the Shaws' women but the heroine in the The Unsocial Socialist didn't impress me much. ( not that hero was less annoying- but I guess that was the point).

False Impression by Jeffrey Archer had all the main roles for women and yet there was a part which gave me a serious "WTH" moment( which I totally blame on him being a male writer or desperate for a hook to proceed the story). I still enjoyed rest of the story and that's the whole point.

What do women do in other male hero centered novels most of the times even modern era? No hero escaping a peril in most astounding way or pulling off something incredible and impossible in RL? Are there no retcons or adjustments in next books if the novels are turned into a series of many books published at different times and the story is continues? It's very common- especially in the books written as an action series. Even when they are actually writing more and not drawing stuff and try to fit in dialogues and tell the story in limited panels.

@Bold:Not really. Look up "World Without End". The first film is basically a better version of that film.

The first Planet of Apes should not be compared to the reboot. As Rise and Dawn are rebooted versions of Conquest and Battle. When people compare those four films the newer versions are generally considered better.
