...decided to rewrite portions of Naruto in the form of fanfic as a result of me being dissatisfied with the ending? I believe I have some original concepts for it and I've been looking for something to inspire me to start writing again since I have low confidence in it. Manga has inspired me to write before.

Denial of what? The ending? Mmm, that's hard to fully accept being that I believe it was forcefully rushed and possibly altered by the editors in addition to Kishimoto aiming completely towards fans' preferences, while at the same time completely contradicting and rejecting them lols. I will accept the ending so to speak, but being that I want to make an alteration of it, I don't really accept the implied circumstance or intentions of it. Add to that, the ending for it for me was more or less spoiled. Info and concepts from the film revealing that Naruto and Sasuke were alive on this site took away some of the impact for me because I theorized and was left in suspense for so long over either one or both of them dying due to the supposed prophecy.

Many things disappointed me in part 2 lols, in almost every arc, which is why I wish to rewrite some of them. For example, the movie basically spoiled the ending of the manga for me. It's info was released just prior with people making thread titles about it, mouthing off at random in thread about it with no tags, talking about it on youtube and my anime sites, etc, and I spent years in suspense, theorizing on how Naruto vs. Sasuke would go down, and whether one, both or neither world die.

You should do it. I wasn't very satisfied with the ending. Not terribly disappointed either but it could use some work. Which parts were you planning to rewrite? If I was gonna do it as in line with canon as possible I would do the entire war arc but I am not really into writing anything. A lot of people seem to think fanfics are always about parings and what not, but I like to read some just to see what would happen if a variable was different.

This is going to be harder than I thought lols. I tried organizing my ideas and it got out of hand and changed the story a lot in parts from me adding so much more in lols.
