Personally I would like to see a second interview of him clarifying that it is ten years after, or some other content clarifying that it is indeed 10 years later. Because honestly 10 years doesn't make much sense. People look to have aged quite a bit more than ten years. Without a second clarification on it, I honestly won't believe one source, and would prefer to believe what the drawings look like. B looks older than 46. Kakashi looks older as well. Not to mention A's and Mei's horrible aging.

Especially kurenai's daughter who can't be more than what 10-11 years in age? 11 is the max, since she was born what right after the pain arc? She's also wearing what appears to be a standard chuunin outfit, and her mother thought that she was on and escort mission for Naruto (meaning she likely did something similar before), something they most likely wouldn't have a genin doing. Even a genius like Neji was still a genin by age 13. Hell theres' only a couple that we know were genin before age 13, Itachi and Kakashi are the only two I can think of.

I would gladly take what the colored pictures that took hours to make look like over something that could very well be a mistake said during the interview. If you have another interview or source showing the difference is 10 years, I'll gladly accept it as two instances of him saying the same time would be proof enough for me.

So? Kishimoto openly states it takes place 10 year after 699 and you're still asking whether or not its valid? What the hell is wrong with accepting that as true? Do you not want that to be the case or something?

It's completely fine if it is the truth. I would prefer it if it were around 15 years since everyone looks around 15-17 years older. A mistake can be made in an interview though, and that's why I would like a second source. Until a second source saying it appears, I would prefer to keep thinking the timeskip was ~15 years as that is what his drawings that took him a lot of time to create show.

if the time skip is ten years though, then the people have aged what look to be like much more than 10 years. So if it is only 10 years passing, the job on drawing the characters to show 10 years of time passing rather than more time was done extremely badly. The aging of A is a great example. A is less than 60 years old, yet he looks like hes in his 60's, if not even older than that. For comparision Hiruzen was almost 70 when he died, and honestly he didn't look as old as A.
