Hood pranks... gone wrong!

So this is just my rant now. Why do people do that sh*t? Do they want to get beaten the f*ck up? Do they enjoy it? They're doing pranks like: "Yo, wanna buy a gun real quick?" And then it's a water pistol... but if you're grabbing your jeans and want to sell me a gun, ESPECIALLY in America, where almost everybody can get a gun, I'd for sure beat you the f*ck up too. And what especially gets on my nerves is that when they get beaten up, all they do is scream: "IT'S A PRANK, YO! IT'S A PRANK!" Like wthat the f*ck they expect them to do in such situations? Smh... ._.

So guys, what's your opinion on this?

The real reason these guys reacted the way they did is because they live in a dangerous place. Poorer areas=sketchy=dangerous. You pretty much have to be on your toes at all times, because people will kill for any reason there, no matter how stupid. So when someone sketchily approaches you claiming to have something that can kill you in a sketchy environment, reactions like this are very likely to happen.

80% of this aren't harmless pranks, but harassment.

Most people are laughing at the prankers than with them. There's only a few prank channels out there, the rest just troll/harassing people or stage their pranks for youtube $$$. I do enjoy seeing pranks gone wrong, serves them right but I will admit some of the people do over-react.

I was responding about the first one specifically that's why I mentioned it by name. Besides the phone prank and maybe, a strong maybe, the fart one were harmless. You notice how in each one of these videos there are the group or person who know how to react to the situation appropriately then there's the other people who act impulsively without actually taking in the environment.
