^^true. he is quiet tricky to make the story more intensed and not too obvious. But he stood to his early decisions on how the pairings would be. Also he is quiet firm answering the question about people who are sad about the (pairing) ending:

kishi(translated by awesome organic dinosaur from reddit): This movie, in a sense, talks about how Sakura always, from the beginning, kept continuing with her own individual tastes and preferences. It's a story about how Naruto and Sakura parted ways. The way that the readers interpreted the last chapter, having questions and problems unanswered and feeling a bit hazy and sad over it, with this situation to be neatly resolved, I think that it would be great if the readers would be fine with my answer too!

^^ hehehe.. kishi did intend to mislead maybe in order to create more dynamic to the romance story. As a naruhina (joining naruhina during pain arc), I can understand the sadness of narusaku, but can't understand some of them who are overreacting. Kishi made it clear here in this interview (also that he wanted a scene of narusaku in the movie to resolve the misleading narusaku plot he created). I hope, time will heal and people come to accept the ending ( whether they like it or not ) overall, naruto is an outstanding story.

they died around 23-24 if i remember correctly from the databook infos, so around 22 or 23 years old
