Just going to say this. It's highly unlikely they'll be as good as UBW. UBW is a combination of great action, animation, soundtrack, characters, character development.

Here's what I'd consider a good sample episode with regards to the fighting and "epic" feel.

Avengers assemble sucks indeed. I guess they are getting a little better, but still, it's pretty bad. EMH was very loyal to the comics. I really miss it.

I don't know where to start from .

I would start at the beginning, because the anime leaves out quite a bit and it will help you understand the characters better(especially Tatsuya) and it will help you understand the science behind the magic better as well.

The anime covers volumes 1,2,3,4,6, and 7. 5 was skipped because its a sequence of short stories. There are currently 14 volumes out, the 14th is currently being translated, while the 15th volume is set to release in Japan on Jan 10th.
