Quite the contrary, this movie will be only for the manga readers, even Kishimoto stressed the fact that people should finish the manga before heading to see The Last.

Personally I like that decision, since it's a nice "eff you" to the certain group of people who are beyond stubborn to catch up with the series and try to force that mentality on others.

You said it, I hate the anime only fans, they're the reason for decisions like creating Storm Revolution without an actual story.
