Sakumo was also seemingly very proficient in kenjutsu with his primary weapon during battle being a tantō called the White Light Chakra Sabre that would emit white chakra when wielded, earning him the nickname "Konoha's White Fang".

It's possible that his chakra is deadly to anyone who's hit by it ? Maybe.

This doesn't seem to far off to be honest. Maybe that's why he was considered on par with the Sanins ?
