i think for the first time since sasuke fought wit oro, i was actually on his side. i wanted him to kill sakura sooooooo bad that i jus knew it wouldn't happen. i like kakashi's dynamic entry. Konoha's beast would've been proud. i also like how kakashi stepped up and said that he would fight alone. i felt all nostalgic and stuff. but it was an awesome chapter tho.hope naruto gets there in time to c how far sasuke has fallen so that he can plan his next course of action. cant wait til next week!!!!!
ya, you're right, i felt nostalgic too, i miss seeing those episodes sometimes, when they were little and kakashi was all mighty lol. I think that naruto will arrive and see sasuke, and i wanted to see them fight and i believe that this battle will happen soon but when kishi make us think one thing he does another so i don't know. And for who don't think kakashi will die i have a question: if you think that he will live, how do you think that he can let them fight? kakashi was always stopping their fights, he cannot do that now. for that not to happen i think that he has to die, kakashi cannot just seat and wait seeing them both killing each other and also he cannot stop naruto because he is stronger than him, what do you think?

I thought that was horrible. Sasuke seemed SO out of character with the whole laughing thing. I mean, I know that he couldn't be since it's written by Kishimoto, but it just didn't make sense. And the whole trying-to-kill Sakura thing got me mad. I hope that they talk some sense into him because, until now, I thought he might have a shred of respectability. I would hate it if he died, but I'm starting to think that that's what has to happen. Maybe it's Kishimoto's goal? To detach the readers from Sasuke so that, when he is killed, people don't mind?

SQUEEE!!! Another amazing chapter!
I'm kind of amazed that the predictions many people made for this chapter were spot on...Sasuke asking Sakura to kill Karin as proof of her loyalty - I was really unconvinced about this one, but there it is... Sakura actually about to attempt to kill Sasuke, Sasuke attempting to kill her, Kakashi arriving, all of it was right on the money. I was hoping that Sakura was not actually serious about joining Sasuke, and I am very glad that Kakashi finally meets Sasuke for the first time in four years...and I liked that it brought up the third-orochimaru dynamic and compared it to Kakashi and Sasuke. Obviously Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are supposed to be mini Sannin...but until now it never occured to me that that would make Kakashi a mini Sarutobi until now.
Speaking of Kakashi...I <3 him in this chapter!!! I've long suspected that he blamed himself for Sasuke betraying Konoha, especially considering how he blames himself for other events in his past, and he's just confirmed that in words. The "I've been a terrible sensei" line just tugged on my heart strings...Kakashi may not be a model sensei, but he certainly cares for his students and that's what counts the most, and its kinda sad to see how little he thinks of himself. Now is his time to shine, and I look forward to seeing what will become of him. I can't wait to see him as Hokage, whether it is just acting or official. I doubt that this battle will be a decisive one...Kakashi has just been made acting Hokage, so I doubt he will die, and Sasuke still has too much importance as a character in the plot of this thing to die now. As others have said, it will probably be a short battle and will be quickly interrupted by Madara and/or Naruto.
Sasuke has officially gone off the deep end...that maniacal laughter was just...almost scarily ridiculous, but actually scary at the same time. He really has become heartless since Itachi's death. It wasn't that long ago that he was going out of his way to save Karin, and now he's ready to kill both her and Sakura. He is seriously messed up...now he cares about Itachi?! Geez...make up your mind Sasuke. I hope when Naruto arrives we get to see the gift Itachi left him, and hopefully it will make an impression on Sasuke and make him a bit more sane, cuz right now he belongs in the looney bin!
I am also totally impressed by the fact that, despite how heavy this and the last few chapters have been, there have also been some ridiculously hilarious moments. Kakashi slapping Kiba awake, asking him where Sakura went, and then leaving them all asleep in the woods? Great!! Especially the fact that Kiba answered and promptly fell back asleep!!
Next chapter: Kakashi vs Sasuke, hopefully Yamato realizes Naruto has given him the slip (and I hope that he has a freak out because Kakashi-senpai told him to bring Naruto back to Konoha and he couldn't do it...that would make my week!), Sakura starts healing Karin (I am SO glad she is not dead), maybe talking to her (maybe they will become friends...) Naruto finds Sai, Lee and Kiba, probably leaves them in the woods too, and at the end of the chapter Naruto arrives on location where Sasuke and Kakashi are duking it out, and chapter ends with an epic Sage Naruto pose.

i think kakashi will easily defeat sasuke...kakashi is way smarter and rite now full of chakra than sasuke...the only problem is he can get emotional as sasuke is his student...but i think that as kakashi is about to kill sasuke naruto will interfere and stop kakashi and then we will see some crap talking (like bleach) between sasuke and naruto and then madara will take sasuke back....

So I take it that you put Naruto into the same category right? Naruto has risen up countless time during fights and no one seems to complain about him. If Naruto can fight using his willpower than Sasuke should be able to do the same thing. ~un deux

Sasuke is now the most badass douch-bag of the manga, Sakura is now the ``fool`` and not Naruto like she said. KAKASHI!! what can i say? HE`S EPIC!!His entrance, Puting off his cloat, show his Sharingan and said ``it`s my job after all``!! DAMN... kakashi will not die, not before Tsunade back has an Hokage. He`s the only one who can take his place of hokage. The fight will be short, Naruto will be a part of next manga. Probable sasuke gonna see he`s a no match vs Naruto + Kakashi. Madara will show up and laught about sasuke and he will say ``what you said ? OOOOO i got it!! you not my partner`` ``that`s what you said HUH?`` ``What about now?`` LOL and sasuke gonna say YEP!!

The first chapter in a while that I rated 5 it was awesome. Now Sasuke will fight Kakashi????? He was able to defeat Danzou just because he was able to heal himself a bit biting Karin however how much he healed? I mean we all know Karin is not a jinchuuriki or a person with lots of chakra she is IMO the weakest character right now. When fighting Killerbee Sasuke bite Karin and it took a bit of time for him to recover here he only bit Karin for a moment or two so that means that gave him the extra power to kill Danzou. But now fighting Kakashi doesn't make sense I mean there are people who will say he was healed by Karin but logically he shouldn't be even able to stand right now
Kishi is again overdoing it with Sasuke. Kakashi will not die so quickly he was revived and Kishi in his latest interview said he will be the star of this year. I was a bit disappointed that we only got to see Naruto in only one page and not even the whole page. Hopefully Naruto will be there in the next chapter and kick some senses into Sasukexd

but i think that i have to disagree with u on this one. while ur facts are right i jus believe that this one will go the other way. now if they fight again down the road then mayb but not now.not a fact jus my opinion. plz comment

This was an aswome chapter the only issue is what will naruto do when he arrives i know before he fainted he saw the team 7 picture shatter but does that mean he is willing to fight saskue all out. And like alot of you have already stated kakshi can't die right now because that wold be a waste to bring him back for a couple of chapters but you never know with kishi. also on the whole saskue needing chakara he should after all these battles even naruto never fought one battle after the next.
