What if Kakashi trained Naruto during the 3 years before Shippuden?

I think it would have been cool to see Naruto trained by both of them.

Learn the basics (Genjutsu resistance, chakra control etc.) from Jiraiya. Including stuff like Kenjutsu, and maybe giving him a similar weapon to the Sword of Kusanagi but from the Toads.

Kakashi teaches him how to add variety to his jutsu set, such as innovating with Kage Bunshin, eventually teaching him Rasenshuriken, and mastering his Fuuton in that time.

It would have paralleled better with Sasuke who got all of the above but with his own skill set. They would have been roughly even at that point, and would make more of a balance between them, once they achieved MS and Sennin Modo respectively.

would have been nice, but i think SM Naruto was equal to EMS Sasuke, i think Naruto needs to learn a couple of extra jutsus as you pointed out, to have a diversified arsenal

At least sasuke's where different naruto literally only got a bigger rasengan

I think deep down Kishi loved Sasuke's character a lot and that's why he put a constant effot to keep him stronger everytime

I get you, but Sasuke's jutsus are mostly chidori variants aswell, but i still wish Naruto learnt another kind of Jutsus, more fuuton jutsus and may be another nature
Sasuke does have chidori variants as well, but that's not all he has fire style, susanoo, genjutsu and also add the rinnegan techs as well

Well part 1 had not introduced Yamato yet, so Kakashi's training method probably would not have worked, since no one could have restrained Kurama's chakra/Kurama. Jman also probably could teach Naruto better than Kakashi, I doubt Kakashi could deal with a part 1 Naruto, less enough teach him skills.

If Kakashi wasn't such a piss-poor teacher in part 1, Jiraiya would've had to go back to the basics. You could probably stem it back to the Academy, no one until Iruka would give him the time of day, but didn't even think of chakra control being the problem for a basic clone?? I mean, come on. :|
