So I was was watching the Sasuke vs Deidara fight and thought about the end of the manga. With elemental advantages fresh in my mind I went to Narutopedia and looked up Indra's arrow and sure enough I was correct in thinking that it was infused with Sasuke's lightning element. It pains me to admit this but if both of Naruto's two attacks had the elemental advantage and still just tied Sasuke's attack, they must have been significantly weaker. Personally I was disappointed coming to this realization but it is what it is.

jj Madara was immortal he had hashi regeneration and he had absorbed the tree. only way to kill him at that point would be to pull out the tail beast out of him which only naruto can do because his chakra is connected with the tail beast as stated when he pulled them out of obito. so in other words, Sasuke can not in no means defeat madara by himself.

Gathering chakra and being tired have nothing to do with each other. Thats like working out real hard but eating afterwards. You still feel the exhaustion.

Fact is Naruto was worn while Sasuke was more fresh and rested.

since when was sasuke fresh and rested?

they both got refilled since receiving hagormo's chakra which replenished their chakra if anything naruto was in better shape
