You didn't understand it correctly. The only thing it can change is it's properties in relation to elemental transformation. There is nothing about size. Also Wiki is based on Databook, and they both agree on the fact that the only change it makes is the element it harbours to negate an attack, not the size.​

Why would it need to change its size if changes it's element to negate an attack, regardless of the size? Kishimoto hadn't made it clear in the databook and at this point it can only be speculation. So we're going on from what we've been presented with in the manga, and according to that it had a fixed size.​

You're saying I'm not using logic? You're saying Wiki (A non reliable source which can be altered easily and isn't the writers words) > data book (The writers words). Now if a writer of a story says that something can do a certain thing then that's what it can do.

It would need to change it's size for large scale attacks which it can do since it can change any of its properties and last time I checked the size and shape of something is a part of its properties. OT: Of course Madara wins. He outlasts Itachi. I'm not 100% sure about Edo Itachi though, since his body weakness would be removed.

The victory I'm talking about is me showing actual facts from the author while you just use the wiki, and your opinions that you think are facts about the manga. Also show me the scan in the manga where it says that the shield has a fixed size.

First off, there's still nothing saying that it has a fixed size, and I asked for a manga scan saying that it's a fixed size not a picture of the Yata Mirror not needing to change the size.

It's a chakra based weapon, meaning that the size depends on how much chakra is put into it. But that doesn't mean there is a limit to it. For example susano being a chakra based, itachi/sasky can't enlarge their susano past its limit whenever they feel like it. Even if this weapon can change it's size like you say, there will be a limit to the size depending on the user. I do acknowledge your point and evidence that it can change shape/size, but for me there is not concrete evidence.​

That's true. If Itachi lived long enough Yata mirror and Totsuka would have been negged by someone/something. Everything seems OPed at first.​
