Lol he wasn't trying at all, he was letting Uub go all out, that why he was taunting him. So he could see how strong Uub was. I mean he didn't even power up during the battle lol

I meant the movie was made almost twenty years after the end of Z. Toryiama didn't have this on mind obviously.
