I have no idea what Zebra was thinking by going into a attack stance and Toriko/Coco acting as support. I think Zebra f*cked it up for all of them. I wouldn't blame him though, it was his first time encountering one of the 8 kings.
Yeah that's why I initially thought it was an illusion. It could go either way tbh but an illusion seems more likely. What if Bambina can fk up his opponents mentally as well? Like he's doing to Sunny.
The only thing i hate about the heavenly kings is that they get too cocky at times. Im glad they got put in their place.

I think its just an illusion and next chapter we'll see Sani all paralysed and telling everyone to not make a move.
Bambina only attacked Toriko, Coco and Zebra. Its odd that he left Sani alone. I think he left Sani alone because he wasn't all aggressive and about to attack him.
True, next thing you know battlewolf will chew them but they'll all get revived because of the continents ingredient being inside the battle wolf's stomach that can turn restore them to get puked out. It's stupid, this is the sole reason that I'm not as hyped as I should be, because I know even if this happened for real that they can find a way to come back from it. Ichiryuu died from getting stomped in the heart by Nitro, I won't accept Zebra coming back from getting beheaded.
He's trying to show the HK's how powerful the 8 kings can be. Remember, ONLY Toriko has encountered one, neither Sani, Zebra or Coco has encountered one of the 8 kings before. This is their first time. Besides, when's the last time we've seen the HK (besides Toriko) got their asses raped? It's not like Toriko is getting sh*tted on himself, his Blue Oni punched Heracles & he smashed the NEO members (aside from Teppei).
We already know how strong the 8 kings are, Toriko was just as careless and they were cocky. Just because it's their first time encountering doesn't mean they should be stupid, they're veteran gourmet hunters, they should know better than to underestimate an opponent that was said to surpass Heracles. Like how many times are they gonna luck out or rely on plot device? If they're weak they should stay away, have some survival instinct. I know the author is doing this for shock value and hype but do it when we're not confident that they'll be just fine despite whatever happened to them.
So what if we know how strong they are? The point is that it'd be pretty stupid if the other 3 HK (Sani, Coco & Zebra) knew what they were doing with zero experience in fighting one of the 8 kings. If you noticed, Zebra was the first to attack and then by instinct, Toriko & Coco played as support. We're not 100% if this is an illusion or not so I wouldn't start jumping to conclusions. Also, what did you expect? By just eating AIR they'll be able to face off a king who was stronger than Heracles? They lack experience and they are fairly new to the gourmet world as well. Yes, they are veteran gourmet hunters but not veterans in the gourmet world.
Yeah...this is a great way to gain experience, their last one. Point is their experience doesn't mean shit, they could know everything about the 8 kings and still get their asses handed to them because they're weak. Also you don't generalize the 8 kings by saying they get experience from one, none of them had experience fighting Bambina and the experience will be different with each of the 8 kings. I know they need to get pair for Komatsu within a week but it would've been smarter if they had left Komatsu in human world with more of those equipments to keep him alive while they train to atleast not get raped by one of the 8 kings. Their sense of urgency got them killed, not really but the characters are being too reckless.
I'm not saying they won't get their asses kicked if they had experience. Experience will help. Toriko fully said he's not taking his eyes off Komatsu. I guess they're being more reckless than ever since they have a time constraint.
