Wasn't it mentioned that Kishi's original characters were Kakashi Naruto Hinata and Sasuke(maybe others) and Sakura was the idea of his editors? She never stood a chance because I honestly think he just didn't know what to do with her.

In chapter 700 she has 10 years worth chakra, so basically she full of chakra only kishi knows what will she do with all that chakra. Lol

She saved the chakra for the seal on her head, but now that its there, she doesn't need to save another 10 years worth of chakra again

Sakura's role as the main female character was always meh (especially Part 1 when she was a useless, crybaby fodder) but her character started to decline drastically when she begun acting like a fool. You know, charging straight for Madara alone, despite the importance of teamwork that Naruto mentioned a couple of minutes before that, and forming a relationship with the one who tried to kill her on multiple occasions.

It was Sakura that Oda compared to her. However, he wasn't comparing her in terms of character, he just said she's pretty like her. Which makes sense since Sakura is supposed to be considered pretty in the Naruto verse. However, yes. It was a joke.

Yes, Kishimoto himself did say that out of all the Naruto characters, his wife resembles Kushina the most.
