But if you were to provide a link to the render, shouldn't you also provide a link to the C4D used, the brush used (if not made by you), and textures used? After all, they were also made by a person, and it might even have taken more work than rendering something.

Also, I don't think that adding C4D, fractals, textures and, basically, everything used to create a tag would be bad, but as you can see some people are not willing to provide the basic things.
Thats because its not like old times, all people do is get stocks and crop them, which is why I don't even bother posting here anymore. I'm a gfx'er myself.
When I make Sigs I always provide my renders, sometimes the C4D's lol.
Since I joined this place I've seen several threads where people stated that they are sick of having only cropped avatars in GFX section on NB. And well, if people are really going to do that all the time they might as well post the original pictures. Because someone worked really hard for that piece of work.
Yes, well, I always provide at least render.
Because, basically, when you are posting original picture used you are not just giving credit to the artist but you are also showing how much you did. And that is, especially for beginners like I am, myself, very important, I think.
