Well actually thinking about it now, can Neji destroy Gaaras guard sand? Since it's infused with his chakra. I'm not sure. And if IIRC, creating normal sand isn't a feat CE Gaara posseses (despite him saying it doesn't take any effort to do in his SRA form).

Yeah he definitely can. He can even channel his chakra through the sand like he did against Kidomaru making things bad for Gaara.

Well then he might be able to pull it off, or make it a high-diff fight. It took base Lee's absolute top speed to start completely evading the sand and getting passed Gaaras automatic defense... Neji doesn't possess that speed - feats and Databook score doesn't support it. So he's still going to have some trouble with it and could get overwhelmed. And If Gaara can make his own natural sand, Neji's definitely not winning.

If he could react to a faster lee without weights then he can react to slower sand attacks which he will see with his byakugan.

-If he manages to catch neji he can simply expel chakra an proceed to cut open gaara's chakra infused sand.

Actually, Lee didn't need his top speed to completely evade Gaara's sand, That is if you are referring to his 5th gate. Technically he needed the speed he possessed without the training weights to evade Gaara's sand attacks ;-; He needed the 5th gates speed to induce further damage, seeing as how gaara was strong and couldn't be so easily knocked down. He could have easily evaded gaara's sand without his top 5th gate speed via no training weights. Just saiyan.

Lee was evading gaara's sand even with the weights on, he never got touched once

Yeah I agree with the bold. Neji's got some nice movement speed in terms of reactions though. Gai said it took the high speed of HL to get past Neji

Neji is more than fast enough to react. He was able to use blow body, blast the webs away and react to a fast moving substance after it was fired

Though if Gaara's sand catches him, he could still channel his chakra through it. Can Gaara make his normal sand in this situation and location? If so, then things may turn out differently but don't forget the Normal sand is slower and weaker than the chakra infused ones

Simply put, with Neji's skills in gentle fist, Gaara will never be able to kill him with Sand. Which is pretty much his only option.

Not only that but Base Sasuke was able to bust gaara's shield with a palm strike

Juuken will destroy its major component an go straight for gaara., bypassing even the sand armour which takes vast amounts of chakra, couple that with juuken an it would end gaara as soon as neji strikes his heart which will cause him to see his own blood and pass out or die if there is no plot shield..
