Wanted to ask what people's opinions are on ferguson, Missouri? I think it's ridiculous to start a riot just because people didn't get the indictment that they wanted. Do people forget Michael brown robbed a store 20 minutes before he got shot and almost beat up the store owner? I don't see the need to go loot an area and do a bunch of unlawful things and pretend it's 'protesting'.

Trial should have been a bit longer and they should of had a more diverse group of people looking at the case;
Needless to say people didn't get the results they wanted so they started looting, burning and shooting.

>travesty in muh community
>better burn the community down, that'll show 'em

It's completely despicable, none of those people on the streets and in the stores cared anything at all about that boy's life, the ones who did are still with family mourning.

That said, cops are going to use force on anyone who is in an impoverished area and refusing to comply with their orders(even if those orders are illogical or unfounded) regardless of color. The apparent truth is Americans with darker skin tones put themselves in those situations more so than Americans with paler skin tones. Now that doesn't mean a white cop has never wrongfully shot a non-white person but it also doesn't make every instance racist. Why does nobody ever make an uproar about a black officer shooting another black civilian? Why aren't there riots and demanding he be fired? Because people want to only focus on the negative and the things that separate us.

It's sad. Causing a riot and using violence won't solve anything. Humans repeat the same mistakes in the past and never learn. The situation sucks but all we can do is enlighten people to the fact that society is corrupt. If violence is used to solve something that was violent, how will that fix anything. Einstein once said the true definition of insanity is making a mistake and re doing that same mistake over and over again.

They burn down the local mom-and-pops businesses, then look for a scapegoat when the city ends up like Detroit because the businesses move out.

They use this rioting as justification while idolizing Martin Luther King, who was a firm advocate of nonviolence. Ignorance and a damn shame quite honestly.
