He can switch places with the Gedo if he wanted to, or any inanimate object near Nagato's feat (example pebble).

Seeing how Sasuke used his Susanoo as a Gedo mazou, he'll be absorbing chakra into his Susanoo.

The speed of Sasuke is too much for Nagato, Gedo mazou would of actually won in his favor if Sasuke didn't pull that bull Outer path copy via Susanoo at the end.

On top of that, all of Nagato rikudou Justus/six path Justus are rendered useless since Sasuke can use them all plus his other vast techniques with the rinnegan and EMS.

I don't need to see any images.. Nagato can easily soul ripped the sh*t out of your precious Saske. And I pratically don't see how Saske can counter it.

Deva Path deals with pulling Sasuke out of defense and blowing him away when getting to close.

Human Path upon touch will rip Sasuke's soul out.

Asura Path deals with long distance offense.

Outer Path deals with reviving deceased Path Vessels.

Summoning Path deals with Susanoo. Multiplying dogs should be a issue.

Preta Path absorbs chakra based attacks.

It's a long and tough battle but Nagato got the edge here.

Without summoning the Mezo, he isn't using it. Now if we are being too picky, then it's the one who originally awakens the Rinnegan that has mastery over the Mazo, including the control. He simply summons it himself or takes its control. It's that simple. His CT works without a core, his BT was much much superior, and so was his Petra Path.
