Decided to help with translating this portion of Kishimoto's statement, considering the kiss at the end of The Last.
“In the final scene where they(Naruto and Hinata) kiss, since the two of them are like my own children, I thought if I wonder if I can watch it, or if I’ll be too embarrassed to watch it…’ when I was surprisingly able to watch it. What I felt when I finished watching was a sad feeling as if my children had kissed, grown up, and gone away.”
Poor Kishimoto, seeing his creation and children grown up and married.
