Now, let's just say for a minute that the recent posted spoilers are real. If they turn out to be true, then that would confirm that Toneri says that Kaguya was the only person that he ever loved. Now who else do we know that was obseessed with Kaguya? Black Zetsu!!!
When I thought about this, I remembered something:
When Kaguya was absorbing Naruto and Sasuke's chakaras, Black Zetsu came out and started talking. At this moment, Sasuke noted that Black Zetsu's voice changed.
Perhaps it could have been Toneri's voice. Maybe the two have a link. After all, I don't see why Kishi would change his voice and actually make an effort to have Sasuke make a note of that if this was just an insignificant detail.
Summation: Both Black Zetsu and Toneri (if the spoilers are real) are dedicated to Kaguya alone. Black Zetsu's voice just spontaneously changed.
That is something to think about.
