Was Juubito underpowered because of plot?

Is there any possible way to counter Kamui intangibility? For what I've seen only Kakashi was able to achieve this considering he had the other eye.

This make me also realize Obito was seriously underpowered when he became the Juubi Jinchuriki because of plot sake. He couldn't use Kamui but when Madara took Kakashi eye, he instantly used Kamui.

Now Imagine Juubito with intangibility.. Naruto, Sasuke and even Madara wouldn't had stand a chance to defeat him.

He could use Kamui, he just couldn't go intangible.

Actually Nope. Kamui has two abilities.. Teleportation and Intangibility. Obito had the left eye for intangibility but he couldn't use it.

No, he was underpowered because he was neither of the Hagoromo's sons' incarnations and instead only had a piece of each. He had only one Rinnegan, not two and thus neither had nor could handle the rinnegan's full power. He also was unable to absorb Kurama and Gyuuki. All the same, it took the two main characters combining their powers and the entire shinobi alliance to defeat him. If you ask me, he really wasn't "underpowered" at all lols.

Kamui's weaknesses had already been exploited in the war arc so I doubt they would have had much trouble with it anyway. Onmyouton and the gudou damas seemed more formidable to me.

His emotions hindered him, he wouldn't have been beaten if his resolve was stronger.

Even if he could still teleport, it's still a bullshit plot nerf that made him not be able to use intangibility.

Nah, he had a god complex and was lying to himself that he was the next coming of Hagoromo. In a sense, that alone already hindered him. U_U

When one has subdued the strongest being in existance, one tends to develop a large ego.

What weaknesses? Kamui doesn't have any weakness of it's own. Kamui is by the best technique in NV by quite a margin, and the best technique in the whole HST. Only the user can limit Kamui's potential. People with low stamina are not worthy of possessing Kamui

More like he became to proud.. Thinking he was unbeatable.

Well not really, during his battle with Naruto, he was also having a internal struggle and that hindered him greatly.

But the intangible ability* is basically teleporting parts of the body
He wasnt "nerfed" or w/e, that however needs to be explained...
Maybe Tobirama, the Second Hokage, knows why it didnt work lmao

He wasn't nerfed for plots sake

Obito who stated he was doing all he can to control the rinnegan also had to fight control over his mind with the juubi.
When this was all said and done minato and tobirama were instantly teleporting coordinated attacks against him.

Keep in mind that he wasn't a complete sage which limited his use and range of goudama and given the fact that he was resisting the ten tails he wasn't receiving its full power

obito could not make himself phase through object and the juubi at the same time.
it was too much for him giving the fact that he barely had control

ALSO madara absorbed the shinju once things got heated
obito pulled it out early and fought without it granting him less power

there is also the fact that madara was the one who taught obito all he knew
madara was the true uchiha legend
the rinnegan was his and its stronger in him
and he was a true sage
