Minato in The Last

Hey guys,most of you already know about this from saiyanisland in which Sakura was confirmed but her role wasn`t,the catch was that Minato was also mentioned,so I re-read that article.The thing that popped-up in my eyes was this:"Two characters confirmed to join Naruto so far in the movie are Sakura Haruno and Minato Namikaze. Their roles have not yet been revealed."
Now,I start to wonder in which form Minato will appear? Just a flashback or something else.
Ps.On other forums I read that Naruto will accidently revive or something like that....

Obviously, they didn't. Minato will definitely show up as a flashback, but he won't have a role in this movie.

It's time for this terrible character to finally rot. As Langland once (metaphorically) said about Fish out of water "they rot and they stink", but for Minato, we can all happily adopt a paradox and chant in union: let this guy rot ... till he stinks!

He made the manga far worse than it already was in terms of plot value. I don't want him in the damn movie.

A lot of Minato hate here. What did Minato do that made him so hated? I am just curious about this because he is not even a stand alone character! One guy in this thread said that Minato made the plot worse (which I totally disagree with). The only things that Minato even did that significantly influenced the plot however, were:

1. Creating Naruto with his sperm and then sealing Kurama inside of Naruto on the day Naruto was born.
2. Keeping Naruto from being taken completely over by Kurama during the fight with Pain.
3. Saving the shinobi alliance twice and helping with the barrier.
4. Bringing yin Kurama to the battlefield (which would later be crucial to Naruto.
5. Keeping Kakashi from killing Obito.
6. Helping in the fights against Obito and in Guy's fight against Madara.
7. Helping to summon team 7 and the bijuus back from Kaguya's dimension.



That is it. What about any of that is so bad? He is sufficiently strong. He has intellectual ability. I don't see what is so wrong with him. He has been more than useful in this war.

People are saying that Minato being in the movie will lower its quality when the movie is heavily romance-based... the plot doesn't have much quality in the first place.

ot: He's not going to be shown in the movie and we've all seen enough of him. Anymore would be pointless.
