Kushimaru stood in the open field as he scouted the area for the man he was tracking. Getting this man was very important for him, he had to prove himself to the higher ups of the Kirigakure ANBU in order for him to be bestowed the power of Naiburi or also known as the Sewing Needle. His face covered with his infamous ANBU mask, Kushimaru bites his lip slightly in frustration after potentially losing track of his target.
*As I walk into the forest, I could swear I can hear the heartbeat of a sword nearby. Interesting enough, the blade breathed life and this is what caused my attention to be drawn into a clearly just near by. As I landed into the clearing, I can see an ANBU with a special looking sword. He wasn’t one I have seen anywhere before, but to me id like to know why is he here and what his objective is. My sword, Kuroryujin strapped to my waist, sitting quietly as I looked at the ANBU*

After saying so, Kushimaru swiftly reaches into his ninja pouch with his right hand and grabs a hold of a smoke bomb. With his left, he grabs three senbon that are evenly held between his fingers. In one simple motion Kushimaru threw the smoke bomb out in front of him, causing it to detonate and disperse into a large poof of smoke. In the same motion as the smoke dispersing, Kushimaru remembers his target's location and throws his three senbon, aiming to strike directly vertical to their body, starting at the neck, followed by the center of the chest and finishing in the abdomen area. Upon releasing the senbon, Kushimaru leaps several times towards his left and enters the forest, long range away from his opponent as he hides within the trees, 5m above ground as he stands on the branches and hides behind the tree's trunks.
*With a crack of a smile on face, I simply listen as the man made a statement to me. Me? A traitor? It’s been long gone since I have been in Kirigakure, it being the birth place of mine. Suddenly my thoughts are cut off at the sound of the smoke bomb going off. Looking as the senbon are launched towards me, I simply remain in the same spot as before. As the senbon comes close to my body, I simply start by motioning my left hand, grabbing the hilt of my sword and taking it out. With a quick whip of my handsm I perform a diagonal slash, causing a torrent of Wind chakra to be released from my blade, blowing the senbon back away from me. As I do this, I return my sword and attain a fighting position.
I slide my left foot forward, and keeping my right foot firmly on the ground, about 3 feet apart from my front legs, I twist the blade scabbard of my sword with my right hand, and with my right hand on the hilt of Kuroryujin, I attain the batto-jutsu position, looking in all directions looking for any signs of life, but with a faithless look in my eyes, I can’t seem to pick up his presence.*

*I thought to myself as I looked around and gained a common posture. I then got an idea. Infusing my chakra around my body, I release a breeze of wind chakra all around me, allowing me senses to be exteneded outwards. As the breeze blows, the breeze makes contact with your body, giving away your location to me, and with a quick grab of Kuroryujin, I channel chakra into it, and directing it blade to the sky. From there, the blades reach extends outwards as it reaches a few metres out and with a swing of my blade, I perform a diagonal slash, coming from my left and ending on the right, cutting the tree your behind of, revealing your location. With a quick smile I extend the blades length back to normal and asks*

It was a period in time in which Kushimaru was not yet emotionless as well as raved over killing others. He was still young, and he was still inexperienced, but that didn't stop him from wanting to get stronger and prove everyone wrong. It was his goal to join the ranks of the seven swordsmen of the mist, and it was these very fights that would one day shape him to be the man that he aims to be. Kushimaru's eyes widened as the tree he is concealing himself behind is effortlessly sliced in half. A drop of sweat begins to pour down the side of his face as becomes uneasy at the man standing before him. He then smirks a little, having every single gesture concealed behind his mask.
Direct approach is not always wise, specially if you do not know your opponent. Considering your notoriety, you sure have been able to keep your abilities hidden from the public's eyes. And that, well that has caused my Bingo Book's information to suffer dearly.
Kushimaru began to calm himself as he tried to analyze the situation at hand as well as his target's current abilities. So far, his target had the ability to use wind release, something very dangerous, one of the most deadly and rare elemental transformations. Then the swordsmanship, merely looking at his stance as well as raw skill with the blade one can easily tell how skillful he is. Kushimaru then began to think to himself.
"If he is able to use the wind nature transformation as well as the blade so effortlessly. Is he.. able to combine the both? That could prove to be quite fearsome and deadly, I better watch myself.."
Shortly after analyzing the situation at hand, Kushimaru leaped towards a tree to his left hand side, aiming to land on another branch as he reached into his pouch with both hands and grabbed a single kunai with each hand. The kunais were tied to an explosion tag by the ring of the kunai. In the same motion as the leap, Kushimaru throws the first kunai with his right hand, aiming to pierce the man's skull. However, moments after throwing the first kunai, Kushimaru throws the second at a stronger rate, aiming to intercept the first one three meters before reaching his target. The first kunai would be deflected towards the man's right hand side while the other one to his left. With the usage of a single hand seal, Kushimaru activated both explosion tags, causing a large explosion to unfold. While doing so, he began to leap from tree to tree, aiming to reach his target's flank.
*Amused as I began to like this guy’s attitude. I can tell he is slightly startled as the tree is cut down and showing his location. Looking on to my target, with my wind chakra blowing in the breeze, im able to monitor him from a good angle. As he made his statement, I replied with the following*
“Indeed I have, I’m nothing but a mere fledgling swordsman! I don’t know simply leaving a village to relocate can make a criminal!”
*I sounded so innocent from my statement, sweatdrops falling from the back of my head. With my eyes closed as I was slightly flustered, I hear a “tang” sound, signaling something is approaching as they clashed. Opening to see the kunai approaching me, I simply smiled and using my chakra into my legs, I with my feet firmly on the ground, pushed backwards just as the the man would make his handseal, and exhaling from my mouth, I unleash a torrent of wind from my mouth sending me flying backwards out of the explosion vicinity. As I slid on the surface of the earth, I took from my ninja pouch a with my free right hand amd toss it forward. Locking the ring of the Yo-yo’s string into my finger, I toss it forward, and infusing my earth chakra into it, I send it towards you as you tried to flank me. My sensory allowing me to keep track of your every movement makes it harder on you. The yo-yo filled with earth chakra, grows spikes on it, and as it reaches you, proceeds to crack your mask and hoping to show your face.*

As expected his opponent had easily defended against Kushimaru's assault with what seemed to be a wind-style technique. Soon after, as the explosion cleared a round projectile attached to a very translucent string began to near Kushimaru's location. Not knowing exactly how his positioning was being found so easily as well as lacking in the arts of ninjutsu, Kushimaru began to apply one of the most fundamental techniques of shinobi. He did so by hastly changing together the Dog → Boar → Ram ninja seals. While doing so he began to mold his chakra to allow him and transform. "Henge no Jutsu!" As the yo-yo reached his short range, a small white cloud of smoke appeared as the nearby leaves from the branches began to scatter everywhere from the explosion of the transformation cloud. Within those leaves laid Kushimaru, having transformed himself into one of them. This would allow him to defend against the yo-yo's most certain expansion into deadly spikes as the now weightless Kushimaru begins to fall back on the ground. As his body glided back down into the ground he began to further analyze his target's ability, noting the usage of the earth elemental affinity as well as the yo-yo weapon usage. Upon touch with the ground, a small cloud of smoke appears yet again, revealing Kushimaru's real self once more.
An ANBU blackops should never reveal his identity to anyone.

Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram are the seals I made in a quick succession, slamming my palm onto the ground. As I do this , a summoning formula forms, summoning a giant rat. The rat comes with a katana as well so it may be used in combat. Roughly the same height as me, the giant rat roars and with snap of my finger, the rat replies, and charges forward for an attack. As the rat came close to you, it rises his arm with the sword, that being its left hand, and performing a quick descending vertical slash down the mid section of your body. The sword cuts your mask as well, and revealing your face along the away as the red crimson liquid called blood is spilled from your body as the rat attacks you.*

Suddenly a poof of smoke was created around the target standing before him. A giant rat was summoned roughly the same size as him. Although unexpected, Kushimaru was not surprised that his highly skilled target possessed such an ability. At the same time as the summoning of the rat, something very strange happened. A Needle long sword came rushing from the endless depths of the forest and pierced directly into the ground in front of Kushimaru, a long bundled of wire being attached to the end of it. Had he finally earned the right to wield the sword? Were Kirigakure higher ups spying on his current situation? Kushimaru didn't think much at the situation at hand, he was too busy being overwhelmed with excitement and happiness upon seeing the blade standing before him. Without a second thought, he performed a single hand seal and created an illusionary clone beside him. The clone began to run towards the target at full speed, circling around the incoming rat. The true purpose of the clone was to distract the real opponent as Kushimaru dealt with the rat.

Concealed by his mask, Kushimaru let out a tear of joy as he moved his right hand forward in order to grab his new blade by the handle. In the same motion, he crouched a little in order to grab a hold of the bundle of wire with his other hand.
(Nuibari) Sewing Needle

Description:
Wielded by Kuriarare Kushimaru, the Nuibari is an unique weapon which assumes the form of a narrow longsword, cylindrical and very sharp which greatly resembles a large needle, with a long length of thin wire mirroring thread, tied to the eye located at the base of its hilt. This sword, quite aptly called "Longsword" is said to possess the ability to pierce all and stitch them together, clearly demonstrated by Kushimaru as how effortlessly he was able to penetrate multiple targets in a single thrust and then quite literally stitch them together in substantial bundles by simply pulling the attached wire taught. A capable user can even throw the sword with the intent of piercing a line of multiple enemies, before catching the needle at the other side and repeating the process at different angles, in order to create knots of corpses with the wire passing through the entirety, effectively creating bundles of bodies at various points along the length of the thread. The sword itself is virtually indestructible and is very resistant to damage though it can't pierce through physical techniques A-Rank and above. The metal wire is as resistant as the sword and although very sharp, the user will be able to pull and interact with it without injuring himself.
Note: Can only be used by Kuriarare Kushimaru
He then pushed off the ground and ran directly towards the rat. In doing so, he reached into his pouch with his left hand which was holding the wire bundle and grabbed a single explosive kunai. He didnt hesitate to throw it forward and detonate the tag shortly after, causing the mist of the explosion to spread throughout the air and confuse the rat as it dealt it's swing. As the rat would swing down, Kushimaru would leap to his right side and slightly forward, aiming to land at the rat's left side. Taking advantage of the rat's confusion, Kushimaru firmly holds his blade paralleled to his body, having the tip pointing towards the rat. In a split second, Kushimaru thrusted his hand forward and let go of his blade, sending it forward at great speeds, aiming to effortlessly pierce through the rat's wrists, the one holding the blade. Once released, leaped forward and towards his left side, flanking the rat and bringing the wire along with him, causing it to tie around his back as Kushimaru then grabs the sword on the other end. This action would cause the rat's arms to press tightly against it's chest. Now being on the right side of the rat, Kushimaru thrusts his blade forward once more, aiming pierce directly towards the rat's lower arm as well as heart, causing the blade to continue forward and aim to pierce the original target through the chest as he is dealing with the illusonary clone that should be aim to distract him by throwing an illusonary kunai towards him. After throwing the kunai the clone would aim to strike the opponent in the face with a single right punch to the face as both are pierced afterwards.
