And Naruto not wanting to kill Sasuke means he didn't go all out. Unlike FodderSaske. XD

He was countering techniques. Equalling everything that Sasuke pulled out and they both ended up on their asses, one arm missing and exhausted. Clearly one is superior over the other.

@Bold Sasuke took the chakra that was being restored to Naruto. If Naruto > Sasuke or vice versa one would be dead and the other lying there.

We haven't seen Naruto really want to destroy Sasuke, not saying he wasn't serious in the fight, but you have to keep this in mind: He wanted to save him no matter the cost.

Meaning Sasuke would not have died vs Naruto because they're attacks equaled each other and cancelled themselves out. Now if he was being serious ... who knows.

Unbiased logic. Naruto had the Bijuu's powering his chakra for the Kaguya fight. When Naruto gets low, good old Kurama stocks him full. It was a purely even fight.

I want to agree, but I remember Kurama giving out his chakra throughout the War aswell. Also towards the end he mentioned it was the last amount of chakra he could give to Naruto.

I think they both were pretty low throughout the entire fight.

True, There were a few instances during the war where Kurama too was low on chakra and had to have Naruto and the SA buy him time to replenish his chakra in which case Naruto would switch over to Sage Mode.

Same with Sasuke. He arrived to the war late sure, but He fought the Juubi, then Jinchuriki Juubi, then Madara, then Kaguya, then Naruto. Both weren't at 100%

Naruto had a portion of 8 of the bijuus chakra and 50% Kurama and Sasuke captured and drained the rest. It was a pretty even match even with Kurama gathering Nature Chakra for Naruto. This was to balance out the fact that Sasuke's Rinnegan usage was getting better and more paths became available to him.

And even though Naruto didn't have an intent to kill, he still had to use his jutsu with intent to kill just to match Sasuke's jutsu just to keep from dying.

In this scenario it was a lot like Team Taka's fight against Bee where that had to fight with an intent to kill just to capture him. Though for Naruto is was for defense.
